About OFP

The Voice Fellow Program at Opernfest Prague connects emerging opera singers with artists and mentors from Europe’s leading opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, English National Opera, Opera Frankfurt, National Theatre Prague, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and Vienna State Opera.

Fellows receive daily one-on-one coaching, masterclasses, and the rare opportunity to rehearse, perform, and record with a professional Czech orchestra. Intensive artistic work is paired with exclusive professional development opportunities—career consultations, portfolio sessions, and mentorship from active professionals—supporting each singer’s transition into the international field.

Rooted in Prague’s storied operatic tradition, the program offers artists direct access to a living musical culture and a professional community that continues to shape opera across Europe. Fellows work directly with senior leaders from these institutions, engaging with the same artistic and production processes that define Europe’s major houses.
